This 1983 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 is finished in Copper Metallic over tan cloth and is powered by a 4.2-liter 2F inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Equipment includes manually locking front hubs, front disc brakes, 15″ steel wheels, 31″ BFGoodrich tires, chrome bumpers, air conditioning, crank windows, and a cassette stereo. The truck spent time in Wyoming before the seller’s purchase in 2025, and work in preparation for the sale is said to have included replacing the rear main seal, fuel filter, and clutch. This FJ60 is offered with an owner’s manual, service records, spare parts, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Nevada title in the seller’s name.
The truck was refinished under previous ownership in Copper Metallic (474) and features dual round headlights, sport side mirrors, a split tailgate, a rear window wiper, mud flaps, and chrome bumpers with black end caps. Close-up photos presented in the gallery show bubbles in the paint around the rear wheel arches.
Chrome-finished 15″ steel wheels are mounted with 31×15″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires. The front axle is equipped with manually locking hubs, and braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
The front bucket seats and folding rear bench are upholstered in brown vinyl with patterned tan cloth seating surfaces. Appointments include air conditioning, crank windows, and a cassette stereo.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer, a 4,500-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, voltage, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 89k miles, less than 100 of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.2-liter 2F inline-six is equipped with a single carburetor and was factory rated at 135 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. The rear main seal and fuel filter are said to have been replaced under current ownership. The truck was designated a gross polluter by the State of California in November 2017 and subsequently passed a California emissions test in December 2022.
Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. The clutch was reportedly replaced in January 2025.
The Carfax report is free of accidents and other reported damage. At least one open recall is noted.
