This 1987 Porsche 911 is a US-specification Carrera coupe that was refinished by Yves Thibeault under the direction of artist Marcel Barbeau in 2013 as number four in the Art Cars Project, in which a series of artists completed uniquely painted Porsche 911s with a presentation at the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec in Canada. Power comes from a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a G50 five-speed manual transaxle, and equipment includes 16″ Fuchs wheels, a rear spoiler, a power-operated sunroof, and a Bluetooth-capable JVC stereo. The current owner acquired the car in 2015 and work completed in 2022 is said to have consisted of a tune-up and replacing the fuel pump. This Carrera coupe is now offered in Quebec, Canada, with a tool kit, spare and removed parts, and Art Cars Project literature.

The custom paintwork was designed by Marcel Barbeau and applied by Yves Thibeault. Equipment includes a “whale tail” rear spoiler, a power sunroof, and impact bumpers.

This is a re-list after the vehicle was previously sold on BaT in July 2022 and the winning bidder failed to follow through with their commitment to purchase. This was not due to any fault with the vehicle. The winner has been banned from future participation on BaT and their buyer’s fee was not refunded.

The six-digit odometer is said to have been replaced and shows 308k miles, approximately 6k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
