This 2019 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport is a Competition version that was acquired by the seller in 2021 and has been fitted with a Manthey-Racing MR Performance kit. The car wears a green and black patterned livery and is powered by a 3.8-liter flat-six mated to a six-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox with a mechanical differential lock. Additional equipment includes a roof panel with a removable escape hatch as well as a roll cage, an integrated fire-suppression system, a single Recaro race seat, integrated air jacks, a 115-liter fuel cell, and a cold-air intake system. The MR Performance kit added natural-fiber and carbon-fiber body panels, lightweight headlight assemblies, 18″ BBS MR wheels, and a Safecraft safety net. July 2023 service reportedly included flushing the brake fluid, an alignment and corner balancing, and replacing suspension components and the drive belt. This 982 GT4 Clubsport Competition MR has 15k miles and is offered in Massachusetts with spare parts, a service log, and a bill of sale.
A track-focused variant of the 982 GT4, the GT4 Clubsport was available in two varieties, Trackday or Competition, and both are equipped with an aluminum composite body shell, natural-fiber composite door materials, and a fixed rear wing with swan-neck mounts. This example is a Competition version that is equipped with an MR Performance kit that helped reduce weight through lightweight headlight housings, carbon-fiber bumper covers, fenders, and rear hatch, and natural-fiber treatments for the front lip and rear diffuser. The bodywork wears a green and black patterned livery with #16 side meatballs, and the car has been fitted with a carbon-fiber front lid and additional upper air intakes. Areas of lifting are present on the front bumper cover vinyl wrap and the seller states the left quarter panel was replaced following damage. Additional close-up images of the lighting, badging, and trim are provided in the gallery below.
Staggered-width 18″ BBS GT4 MR forged alloy wheels are finished in black and mounted with Pirelli racing slicks. Braking is handled by six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers, along with multi-piece ventilated and slotted rotors, an adjustable anti-lock braking system, and twin master cylinders with bias adjustment. The car is equipped with air jacks and rides on MacPherson struts with double-adjustable coilovers. Service in July 2023 reportedly included flushing the brake fluid and replacing a left lower control arm and tie-rod end, front and rear sway bar links, and stabilizer clamps. The seller states an alignment and corner balancing was carried out following this work.
The car is equipped with an integrated roll cage, air conditioning, a fire suppression system, a Safecraft safety net, an electrical cutoff switch, a carbon fiber switch panel, a Chillout Systems driver cooling system, a Racelogic VBOX data recorder, a Motorola radio system, and a Recaro P1300 GT racing seat equipped with a Schroth harness.
GT4 Clubsport Competition models came equipped with a 911 GT3 R carbon-fiber steering wheel that is mounted to a quick-release hub and fronts a Cosworth LCD color display with an integrated data logger. The digital odometer shows 15k miles, approximately 2k of which were added by the seller.
The mid-mounted 3.8-liter flat-six features VarioCam Plus and has been fitted with a cold-air intake system. Competition models were fitted with a Premier 115-liter fuel cell and the seller states the drive belt was replaced and oil changed in July 2023.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a rigidly mounted six-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox with a mechanical differential lock.
A selection of spare parts accompanying the car includes a set of matching 18″ BBS GT4 MR wheels with unused Pirelli competition rain tires.
This car does not have a title, as it is not legal to register for street use. It is being offered on a bill of sale.
