This 1991 Mazda MX-5 Miata is one of approximately 4,000 Special Edition examples produced for the model year, all of which were finished in British Racing Green over tan leather upholstery. Now showing 30k miles, the car is powered by a 1.6-liter DOHC inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission and is further equipped with a black convertible soft top, a limited-slip differential, 14″ Daisy alloy wheels, a wooden Nardi shift knob, a CD stereo, air conditioning, and cruise control. It was first registered in Montana where it was acquired by the seller in 2018, and work performed in preparation for the sale involved replacing the battery and changing the oil. This Special Edition NA Miata is now offered in Louisiana with manufacturer’s literature, a body-color removable hardtop, a tonneau cover, a tan top boot, hand-written service notes, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title.

The car is finished in British Racing Green and features a black convertible soft top, a tan top boot, pop-up headlights, chrome door handles, painted mirror caps, and a single exhaust outlet. Scrapes and a dent are evident on the underside of the left rocker panel.

The 14″ Daisy alloy wheels are mounted with 185/60 General Altimax RT43 tires. The car is equipped with variable-assist power steering, an independent double wishbone suspension, front and rear stabilizer bars, and four-wheel disc brakes.

The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in tan leather along with color-coordinated door panels and a black upper dashboard and center console. Appointments include a wood Nardi shift knob, a CD stereo, headrest speakers, air conditioning, cruise control, and power windows. The seller notes that the stereo does not turn on intermittently.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 30k miles, approximately 4k of which have been added under current ownership.

The 1.6-liter DOHC inline-four was factory rated at 116 horsepower and 100 lb-ft of torque. The battery was replaced and the oil was changed in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

A body-color hardtop will accompany the vehicle along with manufacturer’s literature, a tonneau cover, and hand-written service notes.
