This 2004 Mercedes-Benz E500 4MATIC wagon is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 that drives all four wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission, and its odometer currently indicates 46k miles. Finished in Black over Stone leather upholstery, it is equipped with a glass sunroof, 17″ split-spoke alloy wheels, Airmatic air suspension, heated power-adjustable front seats, fold-down third-row seating, a Harman Kardon sound system, a CD stereo, a heated steering wheel, and multi-zone automatic climate control. The car remained registered to its original owner in Florida until 2019, and it was purchased by the seller that same year. Work since 2023 included changing the oil, flushing the brake fluid, and replacing the tires along with front brake and rear air-suspension components. This E500 4MATIC wagon is now offered with owner’s manuals, service records, spare parts, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Black (040) and features fog lights, a power-retractable glass sunroof, roof rails, a powered liftgate, and a rear window wiper. Photos provided in the gallery below show cracks in two taillight lenses as well as paint touch-ups on the hood and bumper covers.
Silver-finished 17″ split-spoke alloy wheels were fitted with 245/45 Vredestein Quatrac Pro+ tires in June 2024. Braking is provided by ventilated discs at each corner, and the car is equipped with Airmatic air suspension and an Adaptive Damping System (ADS II). The rear Airmatic air cells were replaced in 2023, while the right front strut and left front ball joint are said to have been replaced in February 2024. Brake work in 2024 consisted of replacing the front rotors, pads, and wear sensors along with flushing the fluid.
The heated and power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in Stone leather, and the door panels and rear bench are trimmed to match. Additional appointments include front-seat position memory, a Harman Kardon sound system, a CD stereo, multi-zone automatic climate control, auto-dimming mirrors, walnut trim, cruise control, and COMAND infotainment. A crack in the shifter surround is depicted in the gallery.
The rear-facing bench seat stows flat into the cargo area floor, and the car is equipped with a retractable cargo cover. The handle to raise the third-row bench is broken, and a replacement is included in the sale.
The heated multifunction steering wheel is trimmed in leather and wood, and it frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline as well as an analog clock and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 46k miles, approximately 20k of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.0-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque. The camshaft position sensor was reportedly replaced in May 2023 and the oil was most recently changed in September 2024.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. The seller states that the transmission was serviced in February 2024 and the front inner CV-joint boots were replaced in August 2024.
The Carfax report is free of accident or damage entries and notes an open manufacturer safety recall from January 2023.
